Mummy to 1, sister to 5, and womenswear buyer, Joanne Watkinson, started her blog in the early days of pregnancy as a light hearted way of documenting her efforts to dress stylishly with her growing bump. A white wine drinking, sleep deprived, big haired, CSI watching girls girl, she bruises like a peach, drives like a pensioner and still cant believe she’s a mum.
What are your loves and likes? I like… to dance like there is no body watching, lie in the sun, laugh till it hurts, and give out affectionate nicknames. I’m an expert heel wearer but never in daylight, who loves her man and her family, cups of tea and the small of coconuts, with a particular fondness for war veterans.
Have you got any pet hates? I despise bad manners.
What’s the best thing about being a parent? Having my daughter has made Christmas exciting, given clarity to my perspective and made breakfast in bed a thing of the past.
